Gabe T. Cliett


Gabe T. Cliett graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2000 with a BS in Political Science and minor in International Studies. He graduated law school in 2003 with an emphasis in litigation. Gabe began his career as a Public Defender in various circuits throughout Georgia gaining extensive jury trial experience. He transitioned to private practice in 2009 when the opportunity to take over a small law firm in his hometown of Metter, Georgia. In 2018. his law practice expanded to a second location by acquiring the former law office of Lovett Bennett, Jr. after he was sworn in as a Superior Court Judge.

Gabe has traveled throughout the State of Georgia representing the needs of clients. He treats every case with the same level of importance whether it is a misdemeanor, felony, real estate matter or estate matter. Gabe prides himself on his willingness to take cases to trial and has handled hundreds of jury trials at all levels. He partners with the best investigators, consultants, and experts in order to provide his client's with the best opportunity for success.

Gabe is the Chief Magistrate Judge for Candler County, Georgia. He is also a member of the Middle Judicial Circuit Bar Association, Bulloch County Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, all appellate courts, Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Gabe and his wife reside in Metter, Georgia with their three children. He is a devoted member of the community, has been a youth baseball coach for 12 years and donates to numerous local causes.

Malone Hart


Malone Hart received his B.A. of Broadcasting in Electronic Media from Georgia College and State University in 2012. He later went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Mercer University in 2015. While law school, Malone was recognized as for his professionalism in being elected to serve as a student member of the William Augustus Bootle Inn of Court.

Malone began his career at Hamilton & Maddox, LLC, in Vidalia, Georgia. Within his first year of practice, he was promoted to partner. In 2016, Malone Hart and Gabe T. Cliett formed Cliett & Hart, LLC.

Malone comes from a long line of successful attorneys. For the last 100 years, his family has been representing clients in Statesboro, Metter, Vidalia, and the surrounding areas. Tales from the Altamaha is a play out of Lyons, Georgia, dedicated to the works of T. Ross Sharpe, Malone's great-grandfather. Malone is the proud founder and sponsor of the Luray S. Reid Scholarship which focuses on recognizing high-school students that show a true appreciation for their community's history.

Malone and his wife reside in Savannah, Georgia.
